Through its wholly owned subsidiary, Improve USA, Pharmachem Laboratories, Inc., Kearny, NJ, has acquired the aloe vera business, including the ALOE CON product line, from Florida Food Products. “Pharmachem will continue to sell the ALOE CON product line to current and future customers and distributors through Improve USA,” said Peter Hafermann, president of Improve USA.

With this completed transaction, Florida Food Products will exit the aloe business and will focus on its other specialty ingredients businesses.

In addition, Oliver Andersen, formerly of Florida Food Products, has joined Improve USA. He will continue to serve existing customers and distributors as vice president for Improve USA, managing a larger product portfolio for the company.
